About Alex Centeno
August 24th, 2006 adminAlex was born and raised in Costa Rica and currently resides in North Carolina. He is currently the president and digital media designer at Merkados. Alex started his journey into the “geek” world when he was 12. He started using Adobe Photoshop by the age of 14 and obviously all that time spent in computers has brought him where he is today.
You can find Alex most of the time behind a MacBook Pro or a Mac Pro designing, reading or just “finding new stuff” on the internet. Alex works best in the afternoons and nights, he is definetely not a morning guy.
Alex’s Dreams in one sentence:
“Can we all pray so that it snows today?”
Alex’s favorite phrase:
“If you give somebody a fish, you feed them for a day; if you teach them how to fish, they’ll take over and you’ll be out in no time”.
If he had 100 Million Dollars what would he do?
1. I would take 10% right off the bat (cause otherwise) and distribute it to people in need and causes that I believe in.
2. I would take 30% and set it aside in safe investments – CDS, bonds, etc.
3. Take 30% put into Real Estate. Buy a couple of nice condos (beach and mountain).
4. Take 30% and use it to fund my ideas and my dreams.
5. Take 20% and … uhummm!!!, unfortunately, Alex, you are out of money by then, don’t have that extra 20%!!! — oh, sorry about that, ok, I thought we were just pretending, and if we are pretending, why not pretend that 100 million dollars have 120%?
What is the best about Alex?
1. He is honest
2. He will tell you the truth
3. Alex knows God and he prays for people
4. He is capable of learning anything and start applying it easily.
5. Alex is very good with computers and with digital toys. He can fix most computer problems that normal people have.
6. He is a good listener.
7. He is fully bilingual (English-Spanish)
8. He questions beliefs by intelligently asking the reasons behind them.
9. He can work hard.
